VolunteerVolunteers Needed and Appreciated!
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Legal Aid Clinic volunteer. Attorneys and law students are needed on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 4 to 7 pm. A long-term volunteer commitment is not required before becoming involved with the Legal Aid Clinic. Volunteering with the Legal Aid Clinic is a tremendous way to assist the community for one evening, without agreeing to take on a case full-on. Even signing up for just one day a month provides so much support to the Legal Aid Clinic and the Ventura County community.
At the Clinic, Ventura County residents come in with general legal questions or questions about family law, collections law, or expungement of criminal convictions. Volunteer attorneys will help them fill out forms, answer questions, and offer advice when needed. The Legal Aid Coordinator and other attorneys are present to provide the volunteers with any needed guidance or assistance.
